Mannini Mokhothu

Bio

Mannini Mokhothu is a Lesotho born Actress, and on-screen-performance coach based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Her early artistic impulse started in her hometown Semonkong, where she spent most of her teen- days writing poetry on rocks and indulging in seasonal village entertainment.

In August2002, Mannini took an expedition to Cape Town and later graduated with a BA Communication at University of the Western Cape. Her Screen experience started at the South African School of motion picture Medium and Live performance(AFDA).

In 2015, she made an entry in the UK to undertake MA studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London. During her time in UK, she took lead roles in London’s short films such as REUNION by Harry Macqueen, PILGRIMS by Keir Burrows. Her Royal central graduation was followed by a recognition  as the best actress in LEJOE(2016) – a short film by Jonas Stark.

In 2017, the actress landed her feet back in Africa to take a lead role in a South African feature film– LE NTHAPELLENG – by Cedric Sundstrom.

She was a guest artist in GENERATIONS the legacy where she is playing the character of Nurse Lindiwe.
